Alastair ‘Lag_Beast’ Bouman: The gamer known as “the one-man-army who is able to take on the best of teams with his immaculate skill and composure.” Daniela ‘Bubbles’ Rust: Co founder of the all female MGO, MixedChicks. Kevin ‘Kev’ Woodland: Known for the role he played in developing the COD4 competitive community by running tournaments, blogging and by his sheer epicness 😉 Russell ‘Russ’ Groves: Manager of the MGO, miNt gaming. Steven ‘Roskii’ Roberts: He played a major role in running the well known late MGO, Pantheon Gaming. He also jammed TF2 for Pantheon when the community was just developing. Luca “Robohobo” Tucconi: A legend in the COD4 competitive community. Week Plus Tournament Goes Live

The Week Plus 6v6 tournament will kick off this Sunday 21st with 3 divisions of 4 teams each making a total of 12 teams to take action. All the divisions seem quite balanced and hopefully we will see some great matches.

Stop Corruption, Backup Your TF2 Files!

With TF2 recently becoming Free2Play and the huge amount of updates Valve keep shovelling down our throats, it has become common to see someone’s game files corrupted.

To combat this there is of course Steam’s backup feature which puts your GCF’s (not sure what else) into a neat little archive waiting to be awoken from its slumber… Some of you right now may be cringing at the thought of using Steam’s backup feature. I, for one, refuse to ever touch it due to bad experiences of losing 30GB of data which has to be redownloaded using a 384k internet connection.

A Soldier… a Scout… a Heavy… a Sniper… A Demoman and a Medic… The power of these players becomes a league of extraordinary gamers. A number of leading players from other games have finally seen the light and switched to the best first person shooter — TF2 — since id Software popularised first person shooters.
