17 Teams, that looks good.
Seems Fair….. -_-
Looks very good!
Divisions seem a bit small. But nice to see so many teams!
I like.
Can’t Division 1 be called the Premier League :))))))) Isn’t that what they call it in cod4?
Hey SpikeElite we could but this is not the league yet : ) Just a normal pre-season warm up.
nice 3 divisions i really hope tf2 community grows even more :D:D
Great stuff. All three divisions seem fairly organised and it was a good idea just for the pre-season.
Division 1 teams facing off together will be something to see. Looks like there will be some intense and tight competition, probably some of the best the local community has seen yet.
Good luck to everyone participating, I hope this turns out to be as successful as we are all hoping it be.
It’s good to see all these new clans participating. The league will be fun. 😀
What happened to Shock?
Ground Zero is dead also.
I wonder how many other teams will die before it even starts :/
2 Kinda Still survived, Although mine just got resurrected.lol
Just about 13 months ago we had 18 teams up but to be realistic only the top8 were stable.
How we standing today? 🙂
CyB will join, you can count on it.
Wow I completely forgot about this. Pity it never happened (if I can remember) If we could have just 8 teams playing today I would be amped.
We kinda do, Lastnight in a clannie I saw 20 Spectators which amazed me tbh.
Clan Leaders and players need to get there acts together and Play games instead of specing.

We kind of have more than 8 teams, its just that they need to start playing and stop Yapping that they are trying.
Why you not amped SpikeElite? Make your team play very simple 😛
@ Spike, Lots of games/Mixes go on daily, So games are happening, just not with your team, which is why you need to make them
Spike, you suck.
The community has been active lately, more active then it has been since the whole hacking thing and it looks like it could grow a bit more with the inclusion of those cod players..
“We kinda do, Lastnight in a clannie I saw 20 Spectators which amazed me tbh.

Well tbh, we were just curious and supportive to the community, 12 of us in spectator just watched a few rounds and then we made Severe VS MiX. So we still played our game, just wanted to spec a proper game and see how it goes.
As Leader of FuN I would play clannies everyday if i could, but feels like I’m playing scrabble or something(Never play with the same lineup).
Just a really tough time tbh, well for FuN atleast… 🙁
Yeh team leaders need to start carrying the competitive community forward.
No space for lazy fags XD
Hahaha Razer!!! but wow…18 teams…I’m still in shock…what happened to all the peeps? :O
LoL’d @ Lazy Fags
Last year everyone went super inactive then pufff teams disapeared. Atm we kinda very active compare to last year so that’s why I can say that 2011 it’s TF2 SA year 🙂
Watching you like a chicken………………. O_O
awesome! Here’s to hoping it just keeps improving and we can soon have over 10 teams again!! 😀
(\/)(O o)(\/) -> Beware the crabpeople!!!!
Randomsaurus I cant stop looking at your avatar, think it’s trying to hypnotize me. Nooooooooooo!
Yes, if you not in a team atm. There are lots of good players that isnt.
Talk and get a team going! Let’s make this happen!!! 🙂
Use the tools 🙂

I remember how most of these “lower-tier” teams had cool avatars, tags, steam groups, and even websites and T-shirts, but died before this pre-season even started, let alone the competition itself.
With absolutely zero competitive value in the low-tier level of TF2 clans, no more new clans and players were improving or rising up the ranks to add themselves to the top-tier competition (And remember, this is why we had clans like Swift, eNigma, and even still have Operator today).
Obviously with no new competition, the top teams had no incentive to play or improve except “to stay at the top” and, understandably, they lost interest in the community and either quit, or simply didn’t bother with 6v6 TF2 anymore.
If you don’t want the same thing happening this time around, just play some damn 6v6 scrims (friendly clan games) and keep your clan active.
Don’t just play mixes and pickups, because they’re only designed to help improve your individual skill. And believe me, we have enough individual skill to make endless amounts of frag vids, impressive mid-airs, killing sprees and entertaining spectacles. What we don’t have enough of are organised teams that are dedicated to helping each other improve by playing each other on a regular basis.
If people are still blatantly ignoring this, then they must understand why they’re going to lose 0-9 to a better team when it comes to real 6v6, and not just these run-of-the-mill 6v6 mixes and pickups.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: a collection of individual players that are capable of pulling off spectacular individual plays aren’t what makes a good team; rather, the spectacular individual plays are the byproduct of a good team working together.
Yes really we need to boost our teams activity but really we cannot babysit teams much more. The TF2CSA 6v6 and Cup series should be good enough to motivate teams to play 6v6 more often and just like this year I will make sure we keep the activity in 2011 at almost non stop from January until the low activity period around August/September.
However just a tip for people reading this starting for next year teams will have to be active and using ladder if they wanna be on the Top8 group that can compete at 6v6 series with prizes. We will take the Top8 teams from there so this can help on the part that we will have real active teams that want to take part on the competition, also that they really the current Top8 teams ( form/activity ) and making sure that is not one of those teams that join a competition to lose the first match and rage quit the tournament.
I really want to move forward and I hope to get everyone’s help as either way we will be helping ourselves for a better TF2 competitive. We giving to the community the tools now use them guys.
There’s a bug in tf2.co.za/recruitment. Right now it sends an email TO whatever is entered in “Your Email”, instead of sending an email to whoever is running the system, FROM “Your Email”. So you just get your application sent back to you.
I wonder how many applications have been made which nobody knew about…
I see Jeff probably was reseted when I upgraded plugin : (
Sorry for that… my fault. But has been no more than a month since then hopefully not much people lost hope with it.
It works 100% now. Thanx. 🙂
Grimandy, you missed the y in lovely..
