SInce you need to do the integrity check before an update starts and you dont really know when that will be and most of us dont do this on a daily basis, this is an oops its f*&ked kind of fix.

I get this pretty often. What I dont understand is if i do a backup now and see in the next update that my files where corrupt coz I get my friend the 9gig download and do the restore. Am I not restoring the corrupted files???

It will then download any files that have become corrupt. Unless this doesn’t always work?
