Hey stiXz_,
I remember reading somewhere that if you use net_graph 3 and get your chokes to 0, then the settings are pretty good, the highest you can get with that keeping like that the better.
Whisp's advice sounds perfect, but I remember you were getting laggy sometimes, and those could have been your default settings, but try them out., cuz with a 1 Mb line and your PC they should work well.

Standard rates for a good line: rate 60000 cl_cmdrate 66 cl_updaterate 66 cl_interp 0.031

This is if you have uncapped, if not, how big is your cap?

Yeh basically with the "raw input" option we don't need to touch the registry. But tbh I feel like a better response without raw input, maybe is just me so I'm still using the registry change with the launch commands.

Registry fix:

Launch option commands:

-useforcedmparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd

Wow thanks Razerfox, handy that.

Another quick question: is it still neccesary to change the registry to remove mouse acceleration (as per the aiming guide) or does the new-ish "use raw input" option in tf2 render it obsolete?

Yes you can do that. But if you want to set like a separate interp for each weapon for each class check this config maker. http://clugu.com/tf2mate/

thanks for the handy guide.

2 questions: can't I set cl_interp_ratio in the class .cfg files so i don't have to switch manually? And shouldn't the medic also be interp_ratio 1 for the syringe gun?
