There's a bug in tf2.co.za/recruitment. Right now it sends an email TO whatever is entered in "Your Email", instead of sending an email to whoever is running the system, FROM "Your Email". So you just get your application sent back to you.

I wonder how many applications have been made which nobody knew about...

Yes really we need to boost our teams activity but really we cannot babysit teams much more. The TF2CSA 6v6 and Cup series should be good enough to motivate teams to play 6v6 more often and just like this year I will make sure we keep the activity in 2011 at almost non stop from January until the low activity period around August/September.

However just a tip for people reading this starting for next year teams will have to be active and using ladder if they wanna be on the Top8 group that can compete at 6v6 series with prizes. We will take the Top8 teams from there so this can help on the part that we will have real active teams that want to take part on the competition, also that they really the current Top8 teams ( form/activity ) and making sure that is not one of those teams that join a competition to lose the first match and rage quit the tournament.

I really want to move forward and I hope to get everyone's help as either way we will be helping ourselves for a better TF2 competitive. We giving to the community the tools now use them guys.

I remember how most of these "lower-tier" teams had cool avatars, tags, steam groups, and even websites and T-shirts, but died before this pre-season even started, let alone the competition itself.

With absolutely zero competitive value in the low-tier level of TF2 clans, no more new clans and players were improving or rising up the ranks to add themselves to the top-tier competition (And remember, this is why we had clans like Swift, eNigma, and even still have Operator today).

Obviously with no new competition, the top teams had no incentive to play or improve except "to stay at the top" and, understandably, they lost interest in the community and either quit, or simply didn't bother with 6v6 TF2 anymore.

If you don't want the same thing happening this time around, just play some damn 6v6 scrims (friendly clan games) and keep your clan active.

Don't just play mixes and pickups, because they're only designed to help improve your individual skill. And believe me, we have enough individual skill to make endless amounts of frag vids, impressive mid-airs, killing sprees and entertaining spectacles. What we don't have enough of are organised teams that are dedicated to helping each other improve by playing each other on a regular basis.

If people are still blatantly ignoring this, then they must understand why they're going to lose 0-9 to a better team when it comes to real 6v6, and not just these run-of-the-mill 6v6 mixes and pickups.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: a collection of individual players that are capable of pulling off spectacular individual plays aren't what makes a good team; rather, the spectacular individual plays are the byproduct of a good team working together.
