This Sunday we have the second last round of the competition and should be an interesting round for all teams. With all teams playing extremely well in all of their games, each team will be fighting for that “Top 4” spot. With Nc, Eq, wildgirls and eNg in the current “Top 4” spots, the other teams will have to work hard to push through.
Eq vs AV
AV are not necessarily a new clan with players such as Likalota and Alien founding it several months back in the Draft League, but with their new additions (such as Dan and Evil Clown) and line-up they are showing a great deal of enthusiasm to get to the top. AV will have to work hard in this match as their opposition, Eq, is a tough team with their potent scout pair, comprising of Xt3rMin@tor and Razerfox, proving to be a huge threat to any team (especially their demoman).
Nc vs CyB
Here we have two teams who are newly formed and both have a huge eagerness to win. With Nc having many experienced players, like Warhammy, Apple and Carty, the team has great experience in competitive play. They seem to have the upper hand in this match with winning most of their matches. CyB have shown the willingness to learn and persevere through all of their matches; this in my opinion is one of the most important factors and with practice the team can only move up. Players to look out for in Nc are Warhammy with his swift aimbot-like sniper shots and Goldfox with his scout-magnetized pipe bombs. In CyB we have their main soldier, Stratis showing a considerable talent in his class who will definitely be the driving force for CyB.
eNg vs Fury
eNg, one of the oldest clans in the competition (along with Eq) started out in the competition with a huge disadvantage by forfeiting a match vs wildgirls due to lack of organization. Fury have shown all teams that they are a strong group of friends who play to have fun no matter the outcome of the match. Peng has proven himself to be a strong demoman and definitely a central player in the team.
wildgirls vs Styx
These two teams have both surprised other teams in the competition. Both have their share of new and old players. Wildgirls have the well-known pocket soldier, Mike and the scout, Floyd who both have years of clan experience. Styx have a strong soldier combo comprising of Scare-Crow and f4llin who have an amazing crushing power on most teams and definitely provide the main strength of the team. This match is definitely one to look out for with both teams showing incredible teamwork and skill. Only a single factor may influence the outcome of the match on Sunday, will Styx be able to keep their team together with their main soldier, Scare-crow leaving the team. If that is the result of the match then I’m sure the disappointment of the split of such a crazy team such as Styx will be widespread.
As many teams know, it is not a piece of cake to be in a top team, each player has to work hard on their individual skill. But more importantly, each player must work on using their skill in the team and this of course takes time. Teamwork is the most important part of a successful team.
